Extensive renovation of two floors located in a mixed used clinical building to accommodate the expansion of a cardiac imaging suite including new electrical infrastructure extending from the cellar to the 14th floor and a new roof mounted air handler.
LPE provided project management services to oversee the design and construction of this cardiac and vascular expansion and renovation project, which was completed in two phases. The expansion and reconfiguration of the existing Jean and David Blechman Cardiac and Vascular Center created a centralized registration area; reduced patient travel within the facility and increased the size of the Center by over 14,000 SF. The design included installation of two Siemens Artis cardiac catheterization suites, installation of a new Siemens Symbia S nuclear cardiology suite, and construction of pre-procedure and post-procedure holding bays. Phase two included the addition of a third cardiac catheterization lab, while maintaining full functionality of the phase one procedure suite. This project was successfully completed without disrupting a fully functioning patient floor below and the executive administration floor above.
