Highlights
LPE Management is providing project management services for the fit out of five floors of the low-rise building at Citicorp Center. The project when complete, will create a Women’s Healthcare Center under one roof that will include floors dedicated to an OB/GYN clinical space; an in-vitro fertilization center; a radiology department including MRI’s CT Scans and other radiology equipment.
Pre-construction services to date include oversight of design and construction document preparation; Review and analysis of milestone estimates; solicitation, review and analysis of Construction Manager proposals; review and approval of subcontract scopes of work and awards.
Citicorp Center is a designated landmark structure in New York City. As a result, the placement of rooftop mechanical equipment needed for the operation of the planned spaces required approval of the Landmarks Preservation Commission. LPE closely interacted with the commission in order to secure its approval. This effort included constructing multiple mock-ups of the equipment on the roof and reviewing the visual impact with the field examiner from Landmarks.
The in-vitro fertilization lab is designed to the highest environmental standards.
